Handy User Guide and Common Questions
Find the Right Diaper Size
"One size fits all" isn’t an accurate statement. Babies come in all shapes and sizes, so a diaper that comes in multiple sizes designed to fit them at their specific stages of growth will be the most comfortable and effective diaper. This is why we have five sizes of gPants to meet your baby’s changing shape.Choosing and Using Inserts
gDiapers Disposable Inserts are supremely absorbent inserts with multiple options for disposal. The disposable inserts are made of cellulose fibers, fluff pulp and super absorber and can be flushed, home composted (wet ones only) or tossed.Washing and care
Here's a handy guide to washing and caring for our gPants, Pouches, and Cloth Inserts. For additional care information about our cloth inserts, visit our guides to Cloth Insert Care and Stripping Cloth Inserts. How to Flush Diaper Inserts
gDiapers Disposable Inserts have been designed to be flushed down toilets in North America. Please note that all solid waste should be flushed in a toilet regardless of which diaper brand you choose to use.Composting Diapers
gDiapers Disposable Inserts can be home composted (wet ones only) in a wide variety of home compost systems. The Disposable Inserts are made of cellulose, fluff pulp and super absorber, which alone would be a valuable contribution to your compost, but when combined with the added nitrogen from your baby’s urine, makes an incredibly rich soil amendment safe for all manner of plants and vegetables.Overnight Diapers
Many babies sleep through the night comfortably using only one Disposable Insert. But some babies require a little extra absorbency, particularly during growth spurts when their output increases. If you have an extra heavy wetter on your hands, here are a few options.Travel Tips
You can use gDiapers full time, when you’re at home, when you’re running to the store, or even on vacation. Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind. For Caregivers
Childcare providers are often caring for multiple babies at one time, so we recommend providing them with gPants that are already pre-stuffed with your choice of insert. This way they can change the whole gDiaper more quickly. Keep 3-4 gPants in the diaper bag, pre-stuffed with either Disposable or Cloth Inserts. Provide extra inserts and pouches, just in case. Include a wet bag to bring home soiled items.Getting a Perfect Fit
If your gDiapers are leaking there’s a good chance that you simply need an adjustment with the fit. Follow these steps to ensure you’re getting a proper fit on your baby.Cloth Inserts Care
gDiapers Cloth Inserts are easy to care for if you treat them kindly. Avoid using any type of barrier/diaper cream as they are extremely difficult to remove and will affect the absorbency of the cloth fibers. Do not use bleach or detergents with added softeners or enzymes, as they will eat away at the fibers and your inserts will no longer function as well.
