Meet Jeff, aka “Coach.”
Aw. Remember this little guy from our Meet the gTeam introduction?
Let’s say hello to Jeff Beyer.
full name:
Jeff Beyer
job title:
COO
What do you do at gDiapers?
“I lead the Finance and Ops teams, but mostly try to support all of our internal operations. I also have worked closely with our UK team in setting up the business over the last two years.”
What do you see on the horizon for gDiapers as a company and brand?
“I am incredibly excited for the future at ‘g’ as over the next couple years we are going to see radical innovation across our products, our story, how we raise capital, our alliances and our company culture.”
What are you passionate about?
“I actually am passionate about business which can be a great force for good, but see that businesses are designed wrong — not just because they make work too often uninteresting, but also for their own success. I fundamentally believe we can create a better way of doing things at ‘g’ that will serve as a model for how to build a great company where people thrive.”
If parents had a batting average, what would yours be? Or would another stat be more appropriate?
“I am a big stats guy, but for parenting I think I would rather be the scrappy player who isn’t as worried about stats but does all the little things to help his team win.”
You’re a Cubs fan, but you live in Portland. Explain.
“I grew up as a huge baseball fan in Chicago. The Cubs played all day games back then so they were the team to follow, and with WGN they were broadcast all over the country so I could still follow them as I moved around. Or maybe I am just a glutton for punishment (since they haven’t won since 1908).”
