Good Vibes for Laura

For those who don’t know, the gPants print above was designed for gPants back in 2005.  Everyone loved the print out of the gate, both the boy and the girl version, the colors, the gWords, the vibe they gave off.  We aptly named them Good Vibes Boy and Good Vibes Girl.  But none of us at g could have imagined just how powerful this print would become, and the impact it would have in the years to come.

It all started in 2011 when gMum Jenni posted on facebook that her son was being tested for bacterial meningitis she asked the community to keep Mason their prayers.  One gMum replied with “sending you Good Vibes” and changed her profile pic to an image of her son in our Good Vibes gPants.  That was it – within hours hundreds of parents had changed their profile pic to support Jenni and her family.

A scary and vulnerable event became the gathering point for a community committed to a baby they had never met. Today Mason is a thriving and healthy 6-year-old, and the good vibes are still going strong.

In 2016 when gBaby Ben was diagnosed with cancer and ultimately passed away, the gMum community went one step further and raised funds to assist the family by creating Limited Edition Good Vibes Boy items and sold them through a private facebook page.  For Ben’s family, the financial and emotional support from the gCommunity was overwhelming.   And for every gMum who drinks her morning coffee from her Good Vibes gMug – she takes heart knowing she is part of a community of parents that is truly genuine, gorgeous, grateful and giving.

Today another gFamily is in serious need of Good Vibes.  This time it is a gMum who is losing her battle with Cancer and the community is rallying to raise funds to help her family create memories with the time they have left.

If you feel like sending Laura and her family Good Vibes, simply change your profile pic to the graphic below (or if you have any pics of your own gBabies in Good Vibes gPants, those pics work too!).  Consider it a virtual hug.

And lastly, a few committed gMums from the US and the UK have started a private facebook group where they are selling limited edition Good Vibes Girl items with 100% of the profits going to Laura and her family.  And trust me when I say your gBabies will love the soft blankets and your afternoon tea will taste better out of your gMug.  The GOOD VIBES really do just shine through.
