Awards for Eco-friendly Products
The selection process for the award was rigorous. The Eco Excellence Awards invites companies to submit products that are: “Natural, Organic, Fair Trade, Bio, Non-GMO, Healthier, Ethically Sourced, Non-Tested on Animals, Eco-Friendly, Earth-Friendly, Carbon Neutral, Electric, Solar Powered, L.E.A.D. Certified, One 4 One, Cause Marketing Programs, or devices or services that are presented as a solution to solve crucial issues etc.” gDiapers was accepted for consideration for its disposable inserts, which are 100% compostable (wet ones only) and the only baby product certified Cradle to Cradle™.
After submitting that initial entry, gDiapers was reviewed by a jury made up of editors, influencers, celebrities, parents, and industry experts. From there, the jury selected five finalists within each category, which was then made public.
