It was only a few short months ago that we checked in with our friends in Maine, Brian and Elsa, for the first time. They were preparing to become parents for the first time! And then there he was. An Expert at Being a Non-Expert
Long before I ever even considered writing a blog, I was agonizing over what type of diapers to use. With my first son on the way, I wanted to make a diapering choice that would be kinder to the environment. When I discovered gDiapers, I was excited to try them but, at the time, I didn’t have any friends who had gDiapered their babies.

Carrie and Cooper are 5 months in to life as a family of 4. And like speeding down a groomed slope only to come upon a long stretch of moguls, it’s all about being flexible and taking those bumps in stride. One such bump came with the shift from being an at-home mama, to Carrie going back to work teaching outside the home.

At gDiapers we’ve always believed that small acts can add up to big change. Over the past four years, the Big Latch On has shown how a grassroots, community-based event can get global fast. A Big Latch On event is simple—a group of women come together at a registered location to ‘latch on’ (breastfeed) their babies at a set time and raise their hands to be counted. Friends are made, fun is had, and every year breastfeeding records are broken. It’s fun and simple, but powerful.
